WARRIORS head coach Michael Nees has announced his squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda.

Notable absentees include Khama Billiat and Marley Tavaziva, who miss out due to injury. Midfielder Andy Rinomhota is also unavailable as he finalises a move to a new club.

Captain Marvelous Nakamba returns to the squad after a lengthy absence, bringing experience and leadership to the team.

Benin will host the Warriors at a neutral venue in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, due to the unavailability of approved stadiums in their country.

The match is scheduled for 5 September at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, which also hosted the 2023 AFCON final between Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Kick-off is set for 5:00 PM CAT.

Zimbabwe will also play their Matchday 8 encounter against Rwanda at Orlando Stadium.
