WATCH: Amaqaqa celebrate fans after a milestone year in Bulawayo

Multi-award-winning gospel ensemble Amaqaqa hosted an event in Bulawayo on December 21 in honour of their fans.

group enjoyed a fruitful year, performing at several of the city’s most prestigious events. On May 31, they hosted their first stand-alone show at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Bulawayo. They also participated in the Bulawayo Arts Festival, where they shared the stage with other leading Imbube groups.

In August, Amaqaqa recorded their fourth album, Insakavukela Umchilo Wesidwaba, which they later launched in September at the Hope Centre.

Their journey also took them to South Africa, where they presented the same album to their Mzansi-based fans with a performance at the Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
