Zimbabwean-born author and motivational speaker Bright K continues to make waves internationally, recently being honoured in India for his outstanding contribution to personal development.

He was named Outstanding Best Motivational Speaker at the Visionary Awards 2025, hosted by the Vision Wellness Foundation, following a motivational session he conducted on August 20 at CT Degree College in Ludhiana, Punjab.

The session, titled “Unlocking the Power of Now”, focused on helping students make informed decisions about their education and career paths. Bright K encouraged young people to pursue programmes aligned with their interests and skills, rather than simply following parental influence.

He also spoke on building meaningful relationships, mastering time management, and highlighted Africa’s growing influence on the global stage.

“The founder of Vision Wellness Foundation, Shivam Mishra, reached out to me after seeing my post in The Tribune News, one of Punjab’s leading newspapers. I discussed trends in choosing college programs, the importance of meaningful connections, and being proactive in personal growth,” Bright K said.

Bright K expressed pride in being acknowledged internationally.
“I feel truly honoured. I’ve been tirelessly pushing motivational work in Zimbabwe, but recognition here has been limited. It’s humbling to have the opportunity to present at prestigious schools like Founders High, Evelyn High, Nkulumane High, Mandwandwe, and Ihlathi.

I believe the timing was right, and it’s all through God,” he said. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
