ZIMBABWE and Namibia are moving beyond political diplomacy to forge deeper economies ties through unlocking new business opportunities in different sectors and growing trade partnerships for the benefit of both countries and the wider southern African region and beyond.

Zimbabwean Ambassador to Namibia, Melody Chaurura, is leading the country’s business delegation, which is participating in a three-day trade mission organised by ZimTrade in Windhoek.

Speaking in Windhoek on Wednesday morning, Amb Chaurura welcomed the country’s business delegation and emphasized the need for Zimbabwe and Namibia to expand economic ties beyond historic relations.

Namibia is a key regional partner for Zimbabwe and the two countries have enjoyed cordial bilateral ties from pre-independence times.
