Fungai Muderere at Valterra Platinum in Shurugwi
The third and final lap of the Nedbank Tour de Great Dyke started this morning at Valterra Platinum (Unki Mines) in Shurugwi under cool weather conditions.
Cyclists have been on the road for the past two days. On Thursday, they rode from Selous to Kwekwe after a sendoff at Zimplats. On Friday, the tour moved from Kwekwe to Shurugwi.
Tour organiser Elliot Mujaji said they expect another smooth day on the road.
“We are hopeful for another great day. The tour has been fantastic. The cyclists have shown great commitment,” said Mujaji.
The cyclists are expected to arrive in Zvishavane later today.
