BULAWAYO will have two teams taking part in the Nedbank Premier Netball League following the promotion of Bulawayo Business School (BBS) Club last month.

Last year only one team from the City of Kings and Queens. This was Imbizo Queens, the army team.

BBBS were due to leave Bulawayo on Friday afternoon for Harare for their first tournament as a top league side.

The Premier Netball League Pre-Season Tournament opens the season every year and clubs gauge their level of preparedness.

Beauty Sibanda, the club manager said they are happy to be playing in the Premiership. She said the club is excited and happy that her college girls will be rubbing shoulders with top stars.

The team is made up of girls from the age of 13-17.

Netball has been on the rise following the Gems’ participation in the England held World Cup in 2019.
