ZVISHAVANE was on fire this past weekend as fabulous women lit up Mtonjeni Gardens with the first-ever Doek and Shine party. The event was a bold local twist to the viral Doek and Slay movement.
Tired of traveling to Gweru or Bulawayo for fun, the ladies said “enough is enough” and threw their own colourful, vibe-filled celebration right in their backyard. Judging by the viral TikTok clips shared by Cc Nigga, the Midlands queens did not come to play.

Rocking vibrant vintage fits, dancing like no one was watching, and oozing boss babe energy, the women owned the day in true tabloid fashion.
“This was long overdue!” shouted one reveller over the booming sound system.

“Next time, it’s gonna be even bigger. Zvishavane women have been craving this kind of vibe!”
For those who did not make it, “You seriously missed out!”

But this was more than just a party. It was sisterhood, power, and purpose all wrapped in one doek.
“We reconnected with old friends, networked, even talked business. It wasn’t just about dancing — this was empowerment,” said another glowing guest.

Now the queens are demanding more glam, more music, and more heat at the next edition, with some even calling for ExQ to headline.
Zvishavane has spoken.

Doek and Shine is here to stay!
