Residents of Norton have started receiving water following resumption of pumping at Morton Jaffray Waterworks to the town.

In a statement, Norton Town Council acting public relations officer, Mr Leeroy Kaponda, said Morton Jaffray waterworks had a mechanical challenge and therefore could not pump water to Norton.

“Water will be supplied to both high and low-density suburbs on April 22, 2026, from 10 am,” he said.
