A 40-YEAR-OLD woman, Ms Martha Mahachi, who is battling a brain tumour, is urgently seeking financial assistance to undergo a CT brain scan and related medical examinations, with costs amounting to US$325.
Documents from the Medical Imaging Centre (MIC) and Lancet Laboratories confirm the required procedures, underscoring the urgency of her condition.
Without immediate intervention, Mrs Mahachi risks further deterioration, making community support critical to her survival.
According to a proforma invoice issued on December 10 last year, the CT brain scan at MIC Milton Park is priced at US$250, payable through Stanbic Bank Belgravia Branch.
The examination is necessary to assess the extent of Mrs Mahachi’s tumour and guide further treatment. Additional laboratory tests at Lancet Laboratories, detailed in a separate invoice dated December 5, 2025, amount to US$75.
These include bleeding fee assessments and other diagnostic procedures, payable via Nedbank Jason Moyo Branch.
Mrs Mahachi’s medical records from Harare General Hospital’s X-ray Department dated September 25, 2025, indicate a clinical diagnosis requiring urgent brain imaging.
Doctors have recommended a non-contrast CT scan to evaluate her condition.
Contributions can be made directly to the listed medical accounts to ensure timely access to the procedures, or contact her husband at +263780691590.
