YOU’RE SUCH A PEST, YOU ALWAYS PICK UP FIGHTS, SIBINDI TELLS OLINDA CHAPEL

HAS Olinda Chapel met her match in Ndoyisile Sibindi?

A social media storm has erupted between the two after comments surrounding the recently-held Durban July.

The drama began when Olinda re-shared a post about Sibindi’s Durban July appearance.

She wrote:

“This is the sister/brother they call ‘the sinner’. One Zimbabwean who attended Durban July.

“She’s now been caught out that she’s a Zimbabwean.”

Although the brief remark appeared to reference ongoing online conversations about Sibindi’s identity, it did not sit well with the South Africa-based content creator, who responded with a lengthy and fiery statement.

Sibindi has accused Olinda of constantly seeking online conflict and warned that she would not remain silent.

“She should not dare try to get familiar with me. She is older.

“Maybe, it’s because I had some bit of respect for her but then I remembered she always thrive on drama. Every day she wants to pick on people. Does she ever get tired?” Sibindi said.

She went on to challenge Olinda to verify facts before commenting on her life.

“Do your research before you come for me. I’ll drag you properly. I don’t deal with an old person who’s looking for trouble.

“Whoever knows Olinda Chapel should tell her that I’m not (afraid of) her at all.

“I’ll drag her straight to the devil’s basement. I’m not holding back because of Mamiji. My silence doesn’t mean I’m a fool.”

Sibindi questioned why Olinda had suddenly turned her attention towards “her”, insisting they had no relationship or history that justified the public comments.

“We have nothing in common. She should focus on her own life as I was focused on mine.

“What is it that I have that triggered her to start posting about me?”

She accused Olinda of creating unnecessary drama to attract attention on social media.

“If you want drama, I will give you drama free of charge and get the attention you are looking for.

“Social media monetisation can’t be that bad to a point where you start looking for fights with people who have never said anything about you.

“Guess it’s now hard to maintain the British lifestyle. Google me before you start acting like a confused cockroach in a round hut.”

The exchange quickly became one of the most talked-about entertainment stories online, with social media users split over the confrontation.

Some felt Olinda’s post was unnecessary and provocative, while others argued Sibindi’s response was excessively harsh.

Tinashe Moyo, said, “If someone mentions you publicly, you have every right to defend yourself, but the insults were too much.”

Another social media user, Rudo Mashingaidze, commented:

“Olinda has never been afraid to speak her mind, but this time she picked the wrong person because Ndoyisile clearly wasn’t backing down.”

As the online feud continues attracting attention, neither Olinda nor Ndoyisile has shown any signs of backing down.
