The official opening of the 2026 National Youth Empowerment Symposium and launch of the National Youth Policy (2026-2030) have been postponed to November 23, 2026.
This was announced by Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training Minister Tino Machakaire at a press conference held this afternoon.
However, he said the Youth Innovation Challenge and Young Entrepreneurs’ Exhibitions will proceed on 3 November 2026 at HICC as scheduled.
“The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training wishes to announce that the official opening of the 2026 National Youth Empowerment Symposium, together with the launch of the National Youth Policy (2026-2030), has been postponed to 23 November 2026, at a venue to be announced,” he said.
“However, the Youth Innovation Challenge and Young Entrepreneurs’ Exhibitions will proceed on 3 November 2026 at HICC, as scheduled.”
