ZANU PF Politburo meeting on Wednesday

ZANU PF will convene its 395th Ordinary Session of the Politburo on Wednesday to deliberate on key party and national issues, with preparations for the 23rd National People’s Conference in Chinhoyi expected to be on the agenda.

The annual conference is expected to review the implementation of resolutions adopted at previous gatherings, assess the progress of Government programmes and adopt new policy directions aimed at accelerating the attainment of Vision 2030.

ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Ambassador Christopher Mutsvangwa, confirmed the meeting in a statement.

“The Secretary General of ZANU PF, Advocate Jacob Mudenda, advises members of the 395th Ordinary Session of the Politburo to be held this Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 10:00hrs,” reads the statement.

The meeting will be held at the ZANU PF Headquarters in Harare, with all Politburo members expected to be seated by 9:45am.

Besides reviewing preparations for the forthcoming National People’s Conference, the Politburo is also expected to assess the implementation of ongoing development programmes and reaffirm the party’s commitment to advancing national development objectives.
