THE Zanu PF Women’s League is holding its National Executive meeting to review its 2026 work plan and assess progress made during the year.
Among the key issues expected to be discussed are the economic empowerment programmes initiated by President Mnangagwa during the course of the year.
Members will also evaluate achievements and identify shortcomings in the implementation of the league’s activities.
The National Executive is further expected to reaffirm its commitment to combating gender-based violence and promoting the restoration of the country’s cultural heritage by discouraging practices that infringe on the rights of women and children.
Zanu PF Secretary for the Women’s League, Cde Mabel Chinomona, will preside over the meeting.
The Women’s League is regarded as the party’s mobilisation arm, playing a central role in advancing the objectives of the revolutionary movement.
Today’s meeting is being attended by the League’s National Executive members and the 10 provincial chairwomen.
