United Kingdom artiste, Faith “Zawadi”, Jori has teamed up with a production company Infinity Music to work on a new album.
Infinity Music is a renowned production company that’s worked with artists like Telah Walani, CM Breezy, Momo Cara from DR Congo, and Luk Vibes from Italy.
Infinity Music also works with producers like Tinotenda “Tinman” Marere of Skyline Records, Nhubu Digital and Sekuru Gudo.
In an interview, the founder and owner of Infinity Music Siyabu “Shashuna” Amin said the collaboration was sparked when Zawadi fell head over heels for an instrumental he created.
He said the soulful, mellow vibe of the track resonated with Zawadi, and the two decided to join forces for an entire album.
“We just want the nation to know that Zawadi has a new album coming out soon,” a representative for the singer confirms. “The album will feature a unique blend of sounds, courtesy of Infinity Music’s expertise.”
“With Infinity Music’s impressive track record and Zawadi’s undeniable talent, this album is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
“We just want to the nation to know that Zawadi has a new album coming out soon. She has been working with me on this project. Infinity has worked with a great number of artists like Momo Cara from DR Congo and Luk Vibes from Italy just to mention a few,” he said.
Inspired by her sister Loice to be a singer, Zawadi released a new song “Ndimi Mwari,” that she said it is a reflection to her journey.
“So, I started singing when I was in school. I also used to sing at church and as a family when we were about to go to bed my dad used to encourage us to sing and pray together as family but professionally, I was inspired to get into music by my sister Loice she who is also a singer.
“This song Ndimi Mwari is a testimony of who I am today, and it also reflects on my journey in the music industry,” she said.
Zawadi is a gospel songwriter and singer, renowned for her ability to fuse Afro-fusion and Urban contemporary styles with profound gospel messages. Her music reflects a blend of gospel, life teachings and human experiences, expressed through soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics that inspire audiences worldwide.
With four singles to her name and collaborations with her sister Loice Jori, Zawadi has already made a significant mark on the gospel music scene. Their hit single “Jesu Anonzwa” won accolades in 2019.
