THE Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) is expected to carry out maintenance works at Morton Jaffray Water Works today, a move that will temporarily disrupt water production and affect supplies across Harare.

In a notice, acting City of Harare town clerk Advocate Warren Chiwawa said ZESA will switch off electricity at the water treatment plant between 10 am and 1 pm.

“As a result, no water production will take place during that period, thus affecting water supply to the whole city,” read the notice.
