ZIFA president Nqobile Magwizi has confirmed his association will be naming a new Warriors coach in the next seven days following the sacking of Michael Nees.

The German gaffer was shown the door last night due to poor results.

And a lot of names have been thrown around as his possible replacements including Scottland gaffer Tonderai Ndiraya and assistant coach Kaitano Tembo.

Magwizi said: “We have a committee that is working currently to come up with a roadmap with respect to the person’s specification, the coach that will be coming to join.

“We need to have clarity as to what it is that we’re looking for, so that will be presented all within the next three days.

“And, of course, the executive committee will then make a decision. Once those persons have presented their credentials, we’ll then have to make a decision.”
