Zimbabwe’s representatives at the ongoing Little Mr and Miss Africa Pageant 2026 want to reclaim the major title, Teen Mr Africa, during the finale set for 6pm in Nairobi, Kenya today.
The event, an annual week-long cultural showcase, is featuring 15 countries.
Zimbabwe is participating for the fourth time, demonstrating its continued commitment to youth development and cultural promotion.
Outgoing Teen Mr Africa is Ryan Fengu from Zimbabwe, while the holders of Little Miss Africa, Toto Miss Africa, Teen Miss Africa, Mini Miss Africa and Mini Mr Africa crowns will also be relinquishing their thrones.
This prestigious event brings together young ambassadors from 15 African countries, celebrating cultural diversity, unity and heritage through fashion, talent and cultural exchange activities.
Little Mr and Miss Africa Zimbabwe director Shalom Museba said they are not only there to add numbers but are determined to claim titles.
“We are representing our country and I am happy that the little models have high expectations.
“The country has built a strong reputation for consistently grooming high-quality contestants who have performed exceptionally well and secured wins over the years.
“This year, Zimbabwe is represented by a team of seven participants across all categories: one contestant in the Toto category, two in the Mini category, two in the Little category and two in the Teen category. “The team continues to showcase the nation’s rich cultural heritage while strengthening cultural ties across the continent.”
