ZIMPAPERS SHOWCASES DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AT ZAS 2026

ZIMPAPERS is leveraging the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) 2026 to showcase its digital transformation journey.

It is also reaffirming its role as a trusted media and business partner supporting the country’s development agenda.

Participating under the theme, “Powering Growth: Where Agriculture, Technology and Commerce Converge,” the Group is highlighting a range of innovations and commercial solutions aimed at strengthening engagement with businesses, policymakers, farmers, and communities.

Zimpapers Group Marketing and Business Development Manager, Antony Tuwacha, said the annual exhibition remains one of the most important platforms for demonstrating the Group’s contribution to national development.

“The Zimbabwe Agricultural Show 2026 is strategically significant for Zimpapers because it positions the Group as a national development partner and thought leader at the country’s largest annual business and agricultural showcase,” said Tuwacha.

He said the show provides an opportunity for the Group to showcase how its ongoing digital transformation is enhancing information access and supporting economic growth across key sectors, including agriculture.

At the exhibition, Zimpapers is showcasing several initiatives that reflect its evolution into a future-ready, multi-platform organisation.

These include the rollout of Over-the-Top (OTT) platforms, enhanced digital subscription services, and expanded audio-visual radio capabilities that extend traditional broadcasting into engaging digital experiences.

The Group is also highlighting diversified business units that continue to create value for clients and stakeholders. These include the Zimpapers Training Institute, Courier Services, and the commercial printing division’s new capacity to produce BOPP labels for packaging solutions.

In addition, the Zimpapers Commercial Production Unit is exhibiting a broad range of services, including public address systems, production studios, photography, livestreaming, and LED screen solutions.

“Together with our premium print titles, branded summits and community-driven News in Education initiatives, these innovations reinforce Zimpapers’ role as Zimbabwe’s trusted media and commercial partner,” Tuwacha said.

He noted that agricultural exhibitions remain important platforms for strengthening stakeholder relationships, promoting innovation, and reinforcing brand visibility.

“For Zimpapers, agricultural shows are not just exhibitions. They are strategic platforms to reinforce brand authority, showcase innovation and build enduring stakeholder trust.”

As Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector continues to adopt climate-smart practices and new technologies, Zimpapers is aligning its content and services with emerging trends.

Through its newspapers, radio stations, television platforms, and digital channels, the Group continues to amplify discussions around climate-smart agriculture, irrigation expansion, precision farming, livestock diversification, and sustainable production.

To deepen stakeholder engagement, Zimpapers has introduced The Morning Harvest, a dedicated agriculture newsletter designed to keep policymakers, corporates, agribusinesses, and farming communities informed about industry developments.

According to Tuwacha, the Group’s digital platforms, OTT services, and audio-visual capabilities ensure stakeholders have access to timely, relevant, and interactive information.

Beyond media, Zimpapers contributes to food security, sustainability, and innovation through integrated commercial solutions that support the agricultural value chain. Services such as courier operations, commercial printing, packaging solutions, livestreaming, and event production help businesses enhance their operations and visibility.

Stakeholders wishing to engage with Zimpapers beyond the show can access its media brands, digital platforms, commercial services, and agricultural information products, including The Morning Harvest newsletter.

For direct engagement, Zimpapers can be contacted through its corporate offices in Harare on +263 242 751 418, as well as via its official website and social media platforms.
