Zimpapers unveils integrated newsrooms in major digital shift

Rumbidzayi Zinyuke – Senior Reporter

Stakeholders in the media industry have gathered at Herald House in Harare ahead of the launch of Zimpapers’ new integrated newsroom, a key milestone in the group’s digital transformation drive.

The initiative is expected to enhance collaboration across news platforms and streamline the production process.

The development marks a significant shift in how the country’s largest integrated media house produces content, distributes news and engages with its audiences, as it adapts to fast-changing consumption patterns driven by technology.

The digital transition, which began last year, has already begun to reshape Zimpapers’ operations, boosting efficiency, strengthening competitiveness, and positioning the organisation for growth in an increasingly dynamic media environment.
