DIVERSIFIED food manufacturing company, National Foods Holdings Limited, has expressed excitement after scooping three awards at the recent Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) 2026 while reiterating its commitment to driving Zimbabwe’s national food security.

National Foods was adjudged the winner of the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectorial exhibition, second best in the Stockfeeds Sectorial Exhibition and second place Overall Supreme Design and Customer Experience at the 2026 ZITF expo that ended in Bulawayo last Saturday.

Following the commissioning of three new production plants by President Mnangagwa in Harare in May last year, National Foods, is enjoying higher aggregate volume growth due to expanded capacity, which has positioned the business to substitute imports and shift focus to exporting.

The company was among many local and foreign corporates that scooped awards of excellence at the country’s premier multi-sectorial expo.

“We are really humbled and honored to have been awarded these prizes. It’s no surprise that this year National Foods won big at ZITF,” said the company in a brief statement shared with Zimpapers.

“We definitely worked as a team, as ‘Team National Foods’. Awards by nature are an integral component of the corporate and product brand and for us this is an indication that our products are accessible, acceptable, affordable, growing, leading and are valued by Zimbabweans.

“This means a lot to us as National Foods, as the awards imply that we are definitely fulfilling our mandate of feeding and nourishing Zimbabwe.”
