ZNA Brings Health Services Closer to Communities in Umzingwane

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) recently brought healthcare services closer to the community in Umzingwane District, Matabeleland South Province, through a free medical outreach program.

ZNA’s 1 Infantry Brigade conducted the outreach at Nswazi Rural District Clinic, from 11 to 13 November 2025 providing free medical care to people of all ages.


Services offered included,blood pressure checks, dental services, HIV testing and counseling,eye care, general medical examinations and health education

Villagers from Nswazi area benefited from the program, which aimed to strengthen civil-military relations and support disadvantaged communities.

The ZNA has conducted similar initiatives in the past, including in Matobo District, Matabeleland South, where military medical teams provided free healthcare and health education.

Through these efforts, the ZNA continues to promote public health and foster positive relations with civilians across the country.
