Zvitsva pleads guilty to 10 counts of rape and attempted murder

MULTIPLE homicide suspect, Anymore Zvitsva, has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of rape and attempted murder.

Zvitsva (35) pleaded guilty before Harare regional magistrate, Mr Francis Mapfumo today.

When he appeared yesterday, the State indicated that Zvitsva had been mentally examined, and it was established that he is fit to stand trial before the regional court on the various rape and attempted murder charges he is facing.

The report has prompted the National Prosecuting Authority to initiate proceedings in respect of offences under the non-third schedule.
