TEN traditional groups from Mashonaland East province are set to battle it out for the top spot when they compete at the Chibuku Neshamwari Provincial Finals set for Yollar Bar in Chinhoyi on Saturday, June 13.
Participating groups are ZPCS Mash West from Karoi, Chegutu Zambia Chimtali from Chegutu, Achewa Gure from Norton, Garawabika Gure and Rimuka Stars Zambia who are both from Kadoma.
Other groups set to showcase the beauty of culture through dance include Muriel BeiAritoti from Rafingora, Masimba Evanhumbira from Chitomborwizi with Chegutu highly represented by Mhondoro Dzemucheka, Chabvondoka and Nguva yakaoma.
Already five groups have qualified for the national finals and these are Bolamba Culture Birds from Matabeleland South, Marondera Gure Art Group from Mashonaland East, Ezimyama Dance Ensemble from Bulawayo, Dzimbahwe Nengoma of Mashonaland Central and Musa Bira Evadzimu Dance Group from Masvingo.
