A TOTAL of 18 cyclists early this morning s embarked on a gruesome 500km long journey from Bulawayo City Hall to Chitungwiza in President Mnangagwa’s Cycle against Drug and Substance Abuse.
The cyclists left Bulawayo City Hall at 5am.
They were led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Raj Modi and celebrated South Africa based Zimbabwean cyclist Mmeli Ndlovu.

It was reaveled that the cyclists left the City of Kings and Queens enroute to Gweru, Kwekwe, Chegutu, Harare and Chitungwiza where the drug awareness campaign will end.
The cyclists will be received by Ministers of State in every province.
“Lets all say no to drug abuse. Schools are opening tommorow and the school children should pass on to the message to their peers.
Im happy Mmeli is here and he will be with us tommorow,” said Modi.
Permanent secretary for Bulawayo provincial affairs and devolution Paul Nyoni welcomed the initiative.
” Its a very good move, a very good initiative that should be supported by everybody.
It needs every stakeholder to come on board. It needs a collective effort from sports codes, ministries, churches and business community to fight this scourge,” said Nyoni. – @FungaiMuderere.
