SUNGURA artiste Cephas Mashakada – who is admitted in the intensive care unit at Chitungwiza Central Hospital – has been  diagnosed of kidney failure.

The Sounds of the Muddy Face frontman, who collapsed at his Chitungwiza home, is seriously ill and only his wife Eunice and Minister of Media, Information and Publicity Cde Webster Shamu have access to see him.
Even the dreadlocked artiste’s close relatives, who include his mother Fredresi, a young brother and uncle were denied access.
Yesterday afternoon, the relatives were seen milling outside the hospital after being denied entry.

Rebels push towards Tripoli to aid revolt

THOUSANDS of rebel fighters 25km west of Tripoli were moving towards the capital yesterday evening, a day after clerics urged  the people of the capital to rise up against Muammar Gaddafi.
As they advanced, they took control of a barrack belonging to the Khamis brigade, an elite security unit commanded by one of Muammar Gaddafi’s sons, Khamis.
