Intercessors to host business prayer luncheon

Intercessors for Zimbabwe’s national co-ordinator Reverend John Chimbambo said the luncheon, to be held at the Crowne Plaza on Saturday, is premised on the fact that the economic turnaround requires prayer for it to succeed.
“We need to involve prayer in everything that we do in order to gain success as the Lord is supreme over all things,” he said.
Kingdom Financial Holdings Limited founder and director Mr Nigel Chanakira is expected to be the key speaker.
Zimbabwe’s economy is projected to grow by 9,3 percent underpinned by increased mineral production, benefiting from favourable international commodity prices and expanding global commodity demand.
Gold, nickel, platinum and chrome ore prices have been on the increase in recent months.
In mining the commissioning of Unki Platinum mines that is yet to commence full-throttle operations is expected to boost the country’s platinum output in 2011.
Zimbabwe has the second largest platinum reserves in the world after South Africa, as well as huge deposits of gold, diamonds, coal, copper, nickel and tin.
Similarly, increased tobacco, cotton and sugar output is also projected to spur economic growth.
