WHILE police continued their forensic investigations yesterday into the death of General Solomon Mujuru, his widow, Acting President Joice Mujuru, implo-red people to stop making wild statements on the cause of death.
Police were tight-lipped yesterday over what they have found so far, and while revealing there had been a post-mortem, declined to give the results until they knew more.
Gen Mujuru (66) died when his farmhouse in Beatrice burned down on Monday night.
Since then, there has been speculation over the cause of the fire, but yesterday Acting President Mujuru made it clear that
Sadc hails GPA progress, election roadmap

SADC has hailed progress made in the implementation of the Global Political Agreement and the poll roadmap, saying GPA issues had been dealt with at the extraordinary summit in Sandton, South Africa, in June which urged parties to the inclusive Government to put timelines to the draft roadmap in readiness for elections to be held either late this year or early next year.
The Sandton summit envisaged that Sadc’s facilitation would have been concluded by the time the ordinary summit here convened in order not to burden facilitator South African President Jacob Zuma who, from yesterday, assumed chairmanship of the Troika and wou-ld have the unenviable
