YOUTH Development, Indigenisation and Empower-ment Minister Saviour Kasukuwere says his two-week ultimatum to two  foreign banks stands, maintaining he is the sole spokesman for indigenisation.

Responding to a statement by Reserve Bank Governor Dr Gideon Gono regarding the ultimatum he issued to Standard Chartered Bank and Barclays Bank that they risked losing their licences if they do not comply, Minister Kasukuwere yesterday said he was the one responsible for implementing the indigenisation law and is the custodian of the Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment Act.

Rebels push towards Tripoli to aid revolt

SUNGURA artiste Cephas Mashakada – who is admitted in the intensive care unit at Chitungwiza Central Hospital – has been  diagnosed of kidney failure.

The Sounds of the Muddy Face frontman, who collapsed at his Chitungwiza home, is seriously ill and only his wife Eunice and Minister of Media, Information and Publicity Cde Webster Shamu have access to see him.
Even the dreadlocked artiste’s close relatives, who include his mother Fredresi, a young brother and uncle were denied access.
Yesterday afternoon, the relatives were seen milling outside the hospital after being denied entry.
