PRIME Minister Morgan Tsvangirai yesterday dug in on his support for gays and lesbians, saying he would not condemn their unnatural acts as it is their democratic right to engage in same-sex unions.

Deeper global job recession looms, says ILO
THE International Labour Organisation has warned that the global economy is on the verge of a new and deeper jobs recession that could ignite social unrest.
In a grim report ahead of the G20 summit in Cannes this week, the ILO said the risk of unrest was rising in 45 of 118 countries it examined, and that it would take at least five years for employment in advanced countries to return to pre-crisis levels.
“We have reached the moment of truth. We have a brief window of opportunity to avoid a major double-dip in employment,” said Raymond Torres, director of the ILO International Institute for Labour Studies.
The report, World of Work Report 2011: Making Markets Work for Jobs, says 80 million jobs need to be created over the next two years to return to pre-crisis employment rates, but the recent slowdown in growth suggests the world economy is likely to create only half of the jobs needed.
