Cape Town. — First National Bank has announced a money transfer service intended to move money to Zimbabwe more efficiently and at cheaper rates.
FNB announced yesterday that it would use cellphone technology that allows for FNB clients living in SA to send money to the neighbouring state.

Zera gives nod to E85 fuel

E85 is a blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent unleaded petrol, offering motorists a locally produced, high quality alternative to fossil fuel.

Malawi grants Canada mineral exploration licence

LILONGWE. – Malawi has granted Mkango Resources, a company listed in Canada, a two-year mineral exploration licence (Exclusive Prospecting Licence) valued at US$7 million.
The prospecting licence is for the company’s flagship Songwe Hill Rare Earth project, in Phalombe, southeast Malawi.
