Rural teachers embrace pay offer

Rural teachers under the banner of Rural Teachers’ Union of Zimbabwe (RTUZ) have applauded Government for its commitment to improve civil servants’ welfare through the recent salary increment. Government, after negotiations with its workers on Thursday, agreed to increase salaries for its workers to 17,5 percent, up from the initial 10 percent.
