2024 ANSA set for December

SPORTS and Recreation Commission director general Eltah Nengomasha has said they are looking forward to this year’s Annual National Sports Awards due to take place in December.

The awards are scheduled for December 6 at a venue to be announced during the unveiling of the finalists in November.

Speaking on the sidelines of the SRC’s annual general meeting today, Nengomasha said preparations for the awards are underway.

“We already have set a date for the 2024 ANSA. It is December 6, 2024 at a venue that will be announced when we unveil the finalists,” she said.

“We expect to do the unveiling the first week of November. Right now preparations have started on ANSA. Just now we finished the AGM, so all the focus will now be on ANSA.

“We are excited about the ANSA and have gone into a partnership with an orgnanisation that will assist us to manage the event better.”
