2026 National Budget consultations begin

Public consultations for the 2026 National Budget have begun, with legislators from the Portfolio Committee on Budget,

Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion conducting meetings nationwide to gather people’s views.

The Portfolio Committee has been divided into teams to conduct the meetings.

A team led by Masvingo South legislator, Cde Tanatsiwa Mukomberi, is holding a meeting in Epworth.

The consultations are a constitutional requirement to promote inclusivity in coming up with the budget.
