3 Chinese nationals held in Zambia

Lusaka – Three Chinese nationals have been nabbed by police in Lusaka after they were found with masks, two pistols, explosives and over K400,000 in cash, reports The Post.

Lusaka Province Police Commissioner, Nelson Phiri confirmed the arrest after police conducted a raid on their property in Makeni area.

The trio was suspected of being behind recent robberies in Lusaka.

“It’s good that they were arrested; we keep hearing of Zambians being shot by police yet even the so-called foreign investors are involved in these robberies,” said a resident living in the area. – AFP
