A HWANGE man who terrorised two women in a disturbing spree of groping and late night intrusion has been slapped with a 7 year effective jail term after admitting to multiple indecent assault charges.

According to a statement from the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, the 36 year old predator pleaded guilty to six counts of indecent assault and one count of aggravated unlawful entry when he appeared before the Hwange Magistrates Court.

The NPAZ said the pervert struck repeatedly between 29 September and 1 October 2025 where “the offender repeatedly targeted two women and fondled their privates without their consent”. His creepy behaviour escalated on 2 October when “the offender entered one victim’s bedroom by opening an unlocked door.”

Once inside the woman’s bedroom, he allegedly hurled crude insults. The NPAZ said he called her “ikhanda lewotshi,” translated as “pig head,” an insult that “seriously impaired her dignity.”

The prosecuting authority said the courts will not tolerate sexual violations or degrading treatment of women. “Acts violating the bodily integrity and dignity of women are taken seriously by the justice system,” said the NPAZ.
