ABOUT 300 investors are expected to showcase their businesses at the Mashonaland Central Investment Conference to be held in Mazowe on Thursday.

Hosted by the Mazowe District Rural Council (MRDC), the event aims to showcase the province’s investment opportunities and promote rural industrialisation in line with President Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030.

In a statement, the MRDC said the investors will showcase their businesses and explore potential partnerships to contribute to the economic growth of Mashonaland Central.

The MRDC said key topics on the agenda include project implementation targets, business concept rejuvenation and land offer withdrawals.

“The conference will provide a platform for business leaders and stakeholders to explore investment opportunities and contribute to the district’s development,” said the MRDC.

The Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Christopher Magomo (MP), will be the guest of honour.

“Attendees can expect to learn about investment incentives, infrastructure development and the province’s unique selling points,” reads the statement.

Last year, the MRDC hosted the highly subscribed Mazowe Investment Conference. This year, organisers said they have upgraded the indaba to provincial level to unlock investment opportunities for the whole of Mashonaland Central.
