Future Generations 5D movies have ushered in a new dawn for movie lovers in Harare.
The state-of the-art cinemas are the first ultramodern movie theatre in the capital that will premiere movies using the latest technology.Located inside the Angwa City Mall, the ultra modern Century Cinema, boast the first ever 5D cinema experience in the region.
“The first of its kind, A visually satisfying 5D theatre ride , blending visual stimulation with moving seats a new cinema experience a whole new experience that most Zimbabwean residents will enjoy,” said Victoria Chipunza, an official.
She said the theatres are all equipped with the latest digital equipment, massive flat screens and comfy chairs, which give movie fanatics an unforgettable movie experience.
“You get strapped into your seat and go through simulations of different types,” she said.
The movies being screened at the cinema include animation, adventure, horror and action.
“5D is the most modern type of technology in the movie industry. We hope this will be a crowd puller. It accommodates nine people at a time and most 5D movies don’t last longer than 15 minutes because they are compressed,” she said.
