Chief Nemakonde dies

CHIEF Nemakonde has died.

Born Wilson Mhende, the traditional leader died last Saturday after a long illness.

He was 99 years old.

The announcement of the Chief’s death, was made yesterday by the office of the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Mashonaland West.

Provincial Chiefs Council chairman, Chief Ngezi (Peter Pasipamire) was yet to get an official communication from Chief Nemakonde’s family this morning although he confirmed the traditional leader’s long illness.
