The gig features a line-up of star performers among them the magical producer Timbaland, Ciara, Lil Kim, Fat Joe and DJ Scratch.
The United States based artistes are scheduled to arrive in Harare a day before the concert on May 27 for a pre-party to be hosted by Harare’s leading DJs – P Stylez and T Bass – back-to-back with Rax.
Then the actual concert will be held at the Borrowdale Race Course on Saturday May 28, 2011.
“We are making progress regarding work permits and clearance from the authorities. The show is just of the many that we have lined up in Zimbabwe.
“One good thing about the concert is that its part of a regional tour in which Zimbabwe is a key country so besides the Harare show there are three shows in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town,” T Bass said.
About the venue, T Bass said they had learnt from the previous international shows that security and gates were crucial for the success of any gig.
“We have noted that people want value for their money and for the Golden Circle which is the area close to the stage there is going to be tight security. Only those with tickets for the Golden Circle will be allowed in even if it means one person,” he said.
He however, promised fans a lifetime experience when the artistes arrive in Zimbabwe.
