Abundant rainfall promises bumper harvests in Chimanimani District, defying El Niño

THE upper parts of Chimanimani district, including Charleswood, Nhuka farm, Martins Farm, Chimanimani village, and Rusitu valley, have been experiencing substantial and consistent rainfall of 50mm and above since the onset of the rainy season.

Despite the presence of the El Niño phenomenon, farmers in these areas are optimistic about achieving bumper harvests, signaling a positive outlook for food security and the realization of Vision2030, the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services reports.
