Acting President Mujuru condoles Nakhozwe family

Enphante (35) died on Saturday morning when the vehicle he was travelling in veered off the road and hit a pillar at a house along Domboshava Road, just a few metres from his home. He was the fourth child of Mr Grant Nakhozwe and the late former magistrate Mrs Cathrine Nakhozwe.

Addressing mourners, Acting President Mujuru said the Nakhozwe family should find solace in that the nation was mourning with them.
The Acting President and the Nakhozwe family are neighbours at their farms in Beatrice.

“As someone who is still mourning the death of my husband, I know that you are in a difficult situation but just know that you are not alone, we are with you during this time of mourning,” she said.

“We pray that the wife and the family will have the courage to soldier on after this departure of Enphante.”
She said Zimbabweans should embrace the spirit of togetherness especially in such difficult times.
“If we are united we can support each other in difficult moments,” Acting President Mujuru said.

Mr Nakhozwe, who is the executive chairman of Moonlight and Mashfords Funeral parlours, thanked Acting President Mujuru for finding time to visit the family during bereavement time.

“Being so close to the late General Solomon Mujuru, I know you and you know my problem,” he said.
“I just find comfort in that I have seen the Mujuru family going through hard times and this will make me strong.”
Enphante is survived by wife, Tarisai and two children, Eden (6) and Cathrine (six months).

Tarisai’s mother, Mrs Faith Chironga, also thanked Acting President Mujuru for consoling the family.
“You have got a tight schedule but you have shown us love by being with us and we hope God will continue to guide you,” she said.

A church service for  Enphante was held at Moonlight Funeral Parlour yesterday afternoon before his body lay in state in Helensvale ahead of burial at Blakiston farm in Beatrice this afternoon.
