Finally, the holidays are back!
Don’t we all just love the smell in the air? It is adiós to school for now and hello to other stuff we love doing. There is so much to do before the holiday lessons and we bet many of you have already made “to do” lists in your minds.
We bet most of your lists look more or less like this:
Sleep a lot;
Catch up with friends;
Catch up on the latest movies and music and
Mess with your look (haircuts, weaves, braids, nails and everything else that is taboo during school days)
Whatever your list may be, we just hope you stay good throughout the holiday.
Movie check
Speaking of catching up on movies, Cool Lifestyle is checking out a new movie joint, Ster Kinekor at Sam Levy Village that is proving to be a favourite with most teens this weekend.
It was opened about two weeks ago and word in the street says it is tighter than the others. It is no secret that we love things *wink* so check out our Facebook page in the coming days for pics of us “balling”.

Become a pop star
Yes we said it, there are a couple of teens out there who have that on their “to do” lists this holiday. You might not know this but talent search competition “Star Brite” season 3 is in full swing. Eight out of 26 students from Danhiko School qualified for the second edition of the show. This is no joke and yes “American Idol” has nothing on “Star Brite”.
One of these cool kids might just be the next pop star if they outshine other contestants around the country as the show progresses. All our votes are on them and we hope they win!!
Great things are indeed going down in the world of teens and we never get tired of following them up. We gave you the 411 on teen star Tammy’s “Colourful Original @ 16” the other time, yea?
Well guess what, yours truly was there and witnessed the teen setting the house on fire at Alliance Francaise last weekend.
Her team of equally talented band members gave a crazy performance to the full house that came through to support her. It was three times the action for us because we also saw the youthful clique Jam Signal and Real Flex in action.

Fashion killer – A person who’s got his or her swag in check and dresses well
Feeling myself – Being confident, especially when you know that you are a fashion killer
Bae – stands for “Before Anyone Else”. Example: I love you bae
Balling – In the United States that refers to living it up with lots of money, cars and cribs. Forget that, in this part of the world we use it to refer those cases when you got extra stash.
Coolies – There is no fancy definition here. It simply means “cool” as in “it is ok”
Da – Slang for “the” most of you get this but some just don’t”
Game up – As in “up your game”, make improvements

Don’t you all just hate it when you post pictures of yourself and people jump on you claiming you are “flashing” illuminati signs?
The last time we checked raising the index and middle fingers at the same time represented “peace”, right? Maybe we missed the memo that stated they had been converted to the devil’s horns or pyramids and whatever creepy stuff. To set the record straight, we are for Christ and love using the fingers he gave us.
