South Africa’s chart-topping performer, Makhadzi of MaGear fame, is expected in Zimbabwe on Friday for the inaugural Vic Falls Spring Fiesta taking place at Baobab Primary School Grounds on the same day.
Some of Makhadzi’s band members touched down in the country on Thursday to begin preparations.
The show will see Makhadzi share the stage with Judgement Yard, Bagga, Raaz, DJ Nkosinator, Divara, DJ Fatso, Mr Dee, MaThousand, Ignite Magesti, Muffia Kings, J Tonga, and Daddy Racks.

General tickets are pegged at US$15 for two, while VIP and VVIP tickets are priced at US$15 and US$30 respectively. They are available at Booties in Vic Falls, Medmint Pack, Liquor Hwange, and the Fitness Centre.

Organised by a coalition of seasoned promoters and business players, the event sets the tone for Victoria Falls’ growing entertainment scene, with organisers expecting a full house for the debut edition of the fiesta.

One of the organisers, Kudzi Matondo aka Dee Nosh, assured fans of a safe and enjoyable experience.
“Security personnel will be stationed throughout the venue, entry points carefully managed, and crowd control measures enforced. The safety and comfort of attendees is our top priority,” he said.

He added that the show is expected to draw crowds from across the region.
“We’ve hosted plenty of South African acts at Cotton Club before, but this time, we’re going all out. We’re inviting fans from Hwange, Botswana, Livingstone, and right here in Vic Falls to join us for a dance-fuelled fiesta.
“This isn’t just another concert, it’s a full entertainment experience with a bar, catering, and non-stop music. The target crowd is anyone who can dance and loves Makhadzi’s music,” he said.

Looking ahead, Dee Nosh revealed that plans are underway to make the Vic Falls Spring Fiesta an annual event that grows in scale, attracting more international and local talent while giving audiences value for money and unforgettable memories.

The fiesta promises to be a major highlight on the regional entertainment calendar, uniting music and dance lovers for a day of fun, energy, and celebration.
