ADVOCATE Fadzayi Mahere has joined her leader Mr Nelson Chamisa in quitting their two-year-old Citizens Coalition for Change party.

Announcing her decision to quit, Adv Mahere, who is the Mount Pleasant National Assembly representative said there is no legitimate CCC without ‘our change champion in chief,’ in reference to Mr Chamisa who announced his departure from the fragmented party on Thursday.

“There’s no legitimate CCC without our Change Champion in Chief. There’s no legitimate Parliament without respect for the will of the people. I stand by Adv @nelsonchamisa’s decision and join him in leaving the charade,” wrote Adv Mahere on X.

It is the second time Mr Chamisa has lost control of a political party after losing the Movement for Democratic Change party to Senator Douglas Mwonzora.
