AFM urges Zimbabweans to be proud of their heritage

be proud of their heritage and pray for peace, prosperity and economic empowerment.

The last day of the conference started with the hoisting of the Zimbabwe flag and the AFM flag, symbolising the unity of the church and the Government of Zimbabwe.
After the hoisting of the flags, AFM president Rev Dr Aspher Madzivire prayed for the Head of State and Government and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, President Robert Mugabe, Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, Government officials and all Zimbabweans.

Dr Madzivire stressed the role of the church as a unifier, saying true reconciliation starts in the church.
The inaugural Greater Harare International Conference was graced by renowned evangelists from South Africa, Kenya and the United States.

One of the invited guest speakers, Rev Dr Terry King from the US saluted Zimbabweans and urged them to put God first in everything they do.
Founded by John G Lake in South Africa in 1908 The Apostolic Faith Mission came into Zimbabwe in 1915 and has been ministering the word of God in the country for 96 years. – ZBC News.
