It is now time for Africans to be the originators of their own history, visiting Rwanda Minister of Defence, Retired Major General Albert Murasira has said.

He said this after touring the Museum of African Liberation in Harare today.

Speaking after the tour led by the Institute of African Knowledge’s chief executive Ambassador Kwame Muzavazi, Minister Murasira said he was impressed by the project being undertaken which is successful for Africans as far as Pan-Africanism is concerned.

“I think it’s time for Africans to be the originators of their own history. I hope what will come out from this project, not only the buildings and all the artefacts. What we will learn from our history and what will be the change in our future will lead to Africans regain their dignity,” he said.
