UPDATE: Ramaphosa officially declared SA president

CAPE TOWN. – The South African Parliament has officially elected Cyril Ramaphosa as the new president of the Republic of South Africa, following Jacob Zuma’s resignation last night. Members of the Economic Freedom Fighters led by Julius Malema walked out of the National Assembly after heated debate with the Speaker Baleka Mbete. – HR/News 24
