Africa’s economic emancipation takes centre stage

Pan African Parliament Ambassador for Inter Africa Trade, Economic Development and Entrepreneurship Ms Bridgette Motsepe this evening paid a courtesy call on President Mnangagwa at State House in Harare.

Speaking to the media after their closed door meeting, Ms Motsepe said she had fruitful deliberations with the President, with discussions centred on Africa’s economic emancipation.

“The economic liberation has to continue.

“And I spoke to the President about the legislation we have in South Africa which requires every licence holder to include local people as shareholders, whether it’s in the

banking, manufacturing or mining sector,” she said.
