Afro fusion groups continue to dominate at 2025 Chibuku Road To Fame provincial finals

AFRO fusion groups continue to be at the forefront of clinching success at the Chibuku Road To Fame provincial finals that have been held in the country’s eight provinces for the past month.

So far six Afro fusion musical outfits have earned their spots to participate in the national finals set for October 4. One is a Sungura group and the other is a traditional contemporary group.

On Saturday, Mnenga Band from Manicaland and Afro Pulse from Masvingo, both Afro fusion groups emerged the ultimate winners. Sungura band Jungle Foxes also made the cut to represent Mashonaland East province.

Other Afro fusion groups who have made the cut are Simuniziva from Matabeleland North, Core Vibes from Midlands, All in One from Mashonaland West and Da Band from Bulawayo.

Also in the race to the grand finale is Bolamba Culture Birds from Matabeleland South province (Traditional Comtemporary Music).
