The Air Force of Zimbabwe is hosting the commander’s shooting competitions at Cleveland Rifle Range in Harare today.

Participants are members of the Air Force of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe National Army, Zimbabwe Republic Police, the President’s Department, and Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services among others.

The shooting competition is to continue sharpening officers’ shooting skills. Speaking on the competition Air Commodore Gorge Daniel Ngundu said this is an annual event to upskill officers and civilians.

“We want to encourage competitions between the army, other security organisations, civilians and War vets among others,” he said.

“This is to hone their weapon firing skills.”
